In August 2017, IAS launched their first company-wide, global intranet, “The Hub.” The Hub was a central repository and “source of truth” for all things IAS.
Objectives
- To create a useful intranet with an appealing, easy to use interface, which integrates applications, has strong security features, document management and helps us work smarter not harder and applications that grow and develop with our future needs.
- To create a centralized location for employee information
- Necessary tool for everyday business
Tactics
- Weighed building the intranet in-house or utilizing an out of the box platform (IAS used Aurea Jive)
- Designed, partnered across the organization to build content, and executed on build
- Launched, trained IAS team, and developed guides for further development and maintenance
